What data do we collect

We currently collect and process the following information: Names, addresses, business names, business addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers. We will also collect website user statistics. Users accessing the website and/or providing any of the above details to Smart Giraffe Virtual Assistant Services Ltd do so at their own discretion. 

How and why we collect personal data

Most of the personal information we process is provided directly by you for one of the following reasons: Enquiries about our services either via our online contact formor, by you contacting us directly; or, sign up to receive regular updates and emails from us through our newsletter. Occasionally we may receive personal information indirectly, in the following scenario: your contact details are passed to us via a third party at your request.

We use the information that you have given us in order to contact you regarding your enquiry and provide any further information as requested, or in the case of sign up to our newsletter, to provide occasional updates via email.

Smart Giraffe Virtual Assistant Ltd will treat all personal data as confidential and will not share your personal information with any third party without your prior consent, unless deemed necessary by law. 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are (a) your consent, which you are able to remove at any time by contacting clare@smartgiraffeva.co.uk or (b) legitimate interests. 

How we store your personal information

You information is securely stored. We will retain data for no longer than is reasonably necessary, or until you ask us to remove your data from our databases. We will dispose of your information by deleting all electronic copies from our computers or databases, and any hard copies will be shredded.
